New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): The Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon Wednesday following slogan shouting by some members to demand the carving out of a separate state of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh.
Speaker Meira Kumar asked members who wanted to raise the issue to wait till question hour was over.
Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office V. Narayanasamy replied to a few questions on nuclear power plants amid slogan shouting by pro-Telangana members.

He said 90 percent of recommendations of panels on nuclear safety, set up in the wake of damage suffered by the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan after an earthquake and tsunami in March last year, had been implemented.
As the pro-Telangana members kept raising slogans, the speaker adjourned the house till 12.
