Mumbai: Karnire Gangadhar Amin’s ‘Konkan Swad’ wins Times Food Award

Mumbai, Mar 31: Noted social worker and director of the Billava Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Karnire Gangadhar Amin, has been honoured with the prestigious Times Food & Nightlife Award 2025 for his restaurant ‘Konkan Swad (Goan Sea Food)’, which he founded 25 years ago.

The award ceremony, organized by the Times Group, took place on March 29 at ITC Maratha Hotel near Mumbai International Airport in Andheri East. Karnire Gangadhar N Amin, Karan Shetty, and Aishwarya Gangadhar Amin received the award on behalf of Konkan Swad.

Konkan Swad has earned recognition for offering top-quality seafood dining and excellence in coastal cuisine. The restaurant’s commitment to serving authentic and high-quality seafood, backed by 25 years of dedication, has brought this prestigious honour. Initially established on Link Road in Goregaon West, Konkan Swad has now gained widespread popularity at its locations in Andheri East and Jogeshwari West.
