Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Mar 3: A burglary occurred late Friday night at a shop in Thadugoli Junction, Naringana village under the Konaje police station limits, where cash and goods were stolen. The entire act was captured on CCTV.

The shop, owned by Vasanth, was broken into around 2:30 am by a well-built thief armed with a rod. The thief broke the lock of the shop’s iron door and forcefully entered the premises.

He struggled for nearly half an hour to break the wooden door lock of the cash counter room. The thief made away with cash amounting to approximately Rs 10,000 and goods worth around Rs 15,000.

The CCTV footage revealed the thief’s actions, including taking away the shop’s internet modem, mistaking it for a CCTV hard disk.

A case has been registered at the Konaje police station, and an investigation is underway.
