Mangaluru, March 3: The much-awaited four-day Mega Bible Convention 2025 will take place from March 20 to 23 at the Holy Cross Church Cordel grounds in Kulshekar, Mangaluru. This was announced by Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of the Mangalore Diocese, who also unveiled the event's logo and poster.
The convention marks the 50th anniversary of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement, now known as the Mangalore Diocesan Service Communion, which celebrated its Golden Jubilee with a Bible convention last year.

With continued support from Bishop Saldanha, the Mangalore Diocesan Service Communion, in collaboration with the Bible Commission, clergy, and religious communities, has organised numerous impactful training programmes, prayer gatherings, and conferences that have positively influenced thousands across the Diocese.
As the season of Lent approaches, the Mega Bible Convention 2025 aims to prepare the faithful for the 2025 Jubilee of the Nativity of Jesus Christ, with the theme "Romans 5:5 - Hope does not disappoint us." The event is designed to strengthen the foundation of faith and renew the faithful's relationship with Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
The convention will take place daily from 4 pm to 8:30 pm at the Holy Cross Church grounds, with Fr Dominic Valanmanal from the Marian Retreat Centre, Annakara, Kerala, leading the sessions. The event is expected to draw between 10,000 and 15,000 participants, offering a deeply enriching experience for all.
Attendees will have the opportunity to seek divine blessings for their families, global peace, and the well-being of humanity.
In attendance at the announcement were Fr. Clifford Fernandes, Parish Priest of Kulshekar Church; Roy Castelino, PRO of Mangalore Diocese; Fr. Maxim Noronha; Allwyn D’Souza; Kevan D’Souza; and others.
