St Aloysius students conduct guest talk on mobile addiction, exam stress at Cascia High School

Mangaluru, Feb 28: The students of MA journalism and mass communication of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) in collaboration with Belaku Alva’s counselling centre organized a guest talk on 'Mobile Addiction and Facing Examination Stress' for students at Cascia High School, Mangaluru on February 27.

Sujan Shetty, a counsellor at Belaku Alva’s Counselling Centre, served as the resource person for the event. He highlighted the importance of using mobile phones as a tool for accessing information rather than just for leisure. Additionally, he addressed strategies for managing exam stress and provided students with valuable tips.

Everist Felix Crasta, headmaster of the school, spoke about the significance of the event, shared his thoughts on its impact, and congratulated the students for successfully organizing it. The event featured a talk session and interactive games.

Vishal Nayak, assistant professor in the department of MA journalism and mass communication, was the convener of the event, Manvith Karkera and Srutha Keerthi were the student coordinators.
