Chennai, Jan 14: Akash Murali, the younger son of late actor Murali, is all set to make his acting debut with director Vishnuvardhan’s romantic thriller Nesippaya. The film, releasing worldwide today, explores the depths of love and the lengths a man is willing to go for it.

Speaking about his debut, Akash said, “The plot is simple but carries an intense emotional layer. Nesippaya is about a man’s extremity to do anything for his love.”

On the eve of the release, the young actor admitted to feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. “I’m having butterflies in my stomach and can’t calm down until the audience and critics share their opinions. The response to the film’s promos and songs has been overwhelming, and I’m hopeful for a positive reception.”

Sharing his experience working on the film, Akash expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with renowned filmmaker Vishnuvardhan. “To work with one of the country’s greatest filmmakers right in my debut is surreal. Vishnuvardhan has created a legacy in Bollywood, and being part of his immediate next project feels like bliss.”

Akash also praised his co-stars, including Aditi, who he described as “eager to explore more in acting,” and acclaimed actress Kalki Koechlin, calling it a “wonderful experience” to work with her. He expressed admiration for industry stalwarts like Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, and Khushboo, who are part of the ensemble cast. “I grew up watching their films, and it feels incredible to share the screen with them.”

Nesippaya, produced by Xavier Britto of XB film creators and co-produced by Sneha Britto, promises to be an emotionally charged cinematic experience. As the debut film of Akash Murali, all eyes are on this fresh talent as he steps into the spotlight.
