Mangaluru: Srinivas University hosts successful beach clean-up campaign

Mangaluru, Dec 18: The eco club of Srinivas University’s Institute of Allied Health Sciences organized a beach clean-up campaign at NITK Beach, Surathkal, on December 14. Coordinated by Vikhyath Bangera and supported by dean professor Pavana Krishnamoorthy, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, the AHS student council, and eco club students.

Participants worked together to clean the beach, segregate waste, and spread awareness about environmental conservation. A sand art competition added a creative touch, with students showcasing designs that emphasized marine conservation and eco-responsibility.

The initiative promoted environmental consciousness and fostered teamwork and creativity, reflecting the university’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
