Udupi, Dec 14: Trinity Central School, Perampalli, celebrated its vibrant Annual Day, "Trivinity", showcasing a blend of student talent and achievements from nursery to Grade 10.
The event was graced by chief guest Rohan Silvan D'Souza, founder and executive director of Leksa Lighting Technologies Pvt Ltd. In his inspiring speech, D'Souza shared his personal journey, saying, "I come from a humble background and worked as a labourer during my studies. Despite failing three times, I persevered, and now I proudly provide for 300 families through my company. While love nurtures children, it is essential to instill responsibility for their growth. Trinity School not only provides quality education but also imparts values that shape well-rounded individuals."
Fr Vinod Mascarenhas, director of Daya Special School, addressed the gathering and encouraged organ donation, saying, "Many donate blood, but donating organs can save countless lives. While students receive education, they must also overcome societal barriers and develop as responsible citizens. I learn valuable lessons from children, as they fearlessly address situations that adults often hesitate to confront. I wish all students a joyful evening."
Fr Robin Victor D'Souza, executive secretary of the Capuchin Education Board and president of the event, lauded the school’s achievements, stating, "Trinity School has set a benchmark in academics and sports, achieving 100% results for the past 10 years. It is more than just an education hub — it is a centre of values that prepares students for the future. I congratulate the management, principal, vice-principal, and staff for their dedication."
