Mangaluru, Dec 12: The department of commerce organized a session on 'Understanding research methodology - A project work perspective' for the students of II MCom on December 9, under the guidance of Nimitha K, staff coordinator.

The session provided a comprehensive overview of 'Understanding research methodology – A project work perspective'. Dr Roshni Yeshwanth’s expert insights proved particularly valuable for students initiating their research journey, providing them with a deeper understanding of research methodology.

During the session, Dr Yeshwanth emphasized the importance of selecting a suitable research methodology that aligns with the research question and objectives. The session covered the fundamental steps involved in research, including selecting the topic, literature review, data collection, data analysis, and many more. The session provided valuable tips on writing clear and concise research papers that adhere to academic standards.

Overall, the session was very informative and engaging, equipping participants with a solid foundation in research methodology and empowering them to undertake rigorous and impactful research projects. The session was efficiently emceed by Thanvika Shetty.
