Puttur, Oct 16: A youth's late-night misdeeds in the Periyadka area of Uppinangady have been escalating, with his suspicious activities being captured on local CCTV cameras.

In a previous incident, the individual allegedly broke into a home, attempting to enter a woman's bedroom while she was sleeping. When she became aware, he fled the scene. On another occasion, the same person reportedly tried to peep through a window while a young woman was bathing. The man, identified as local trader Abdul Rahiman, was later arrested by the police, bringing relief to the community.

However, similar incidents have started to occur again. In the latest case, around 3:30 am, a youth was caught trying to break into a house in the Janata Colony of Periyadka. When the household members realized his presence, he jumped over the fence and hid nearby. His escape attempts were captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

Speaking about the case, Uppinangady sub-inspector Avinash stated that while no formal complaint has been lodged, a verbal report was made. Officers visited the scene and reviewed the CCTV footage. They also investigated a suspect previously arrested for breaking into homes. However, they noted that the individual in the CCTV footage does not match the earlier suspect. Investigations are ongoing.

This is actually a form of disease... We see some people publicly behaving in obscene manner... Uncontrolled urge is a curse on any person... It is akin to a mental disorder... Usually such people are timid and have great levels of cowardice.. But it happens in a certain age bracket and those people reform naturally... But during the times they are a real menace...

Poor guy. Severely suffered by the marginalization tactics of the present government, unemployment, inflation, attack on Gaza, US support to Israel, attack on Hezbollah, upcoming attacks on Iran, staying neutral policy of our government........there are many reasons which prompted him to do these things.
