Mangaluru, Oct 2: Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta has urged chief minister Siddaramaiah to step down, stating that his resignation would be the only way to preserve whatever is left of his dignity.

"The chief minister’s wife has returned the sites, accepting the mistake, and by doing so, Siddaramaiah himself is indirectly admitting his fault," said Chowta. He criticized the chief minister for "clinging to power instead of respecting the law and the Constitution."

"Siddaramaiah, who once boasted about having a spotless 40-year political career, is now in a situation where his 'white' image is nowhere to be found, as everything is stained black," he remarked.

Chowta further accused the current government of having no direction or vision in the last one and a half years, leading to a state where development across Karnataka is merely an illusion.

"The chief minister should resign for the good of Karnataka. His recent decision to return the sites is nothing but a last-ditch effort to save himself," he added.

MP Capt Brijesh Chowta, it should start first from your BJP office. Central Ministers who are the master plan of Electoral bond which is nothing less than corruption, should be taken for task. BJP is not the same like used to be under Ataljee time, where truth & drama used to be the path.

Siddu should resign now and immediately. He had his sights on treasury to get to power, which he did by running Karnataka government to bankruptcy. And he is also parallelly working on person enrichment because bankruptcy should be 100%.

Ok Fine Anna. He will resign soon. Don't worry. But you concentrate on development works of your constituency. Learn from neighboring Kota Srinivas Poojary. He is so proactive.
