New Delhi, Oct 1: In a recent announcement, oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 48.50, effective Tuesday, October 1. This adjustment raises the cost of a 19-kg cylinder in Delhi to Rs 1,740, up from the previous price of Rs 1,691.50.

Additionally, the price of 5-kg free trade LPG cylinders has seen a hike of Rs 12. The increase is expected to significantly impact restaurants, hotels, and other commercial establishments that depend on these cylinders for their daily operations.
This marks the second price hike in recent months; on September 1, the cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was raised by Rs 39, reflecting ongoing fluctuations in fuel prices that affect businesses across the country.
