Mangaluru, Aug 23: St Agnes College's Agnes towards Community, Rangers, Rovers & Traffic Warden Squad (TWS), and the Management Forum, in association with Young Indians, Mangaluru, organized an Accident First Responders training program. The event was held on August 22 aimed to equip students with essential skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.
The training was conducted by Manohar P L and Anil Kumar from EMRI GHS. They demonstrated crucial first aid techniques, including CPR, bleeding control, and other emergency response procedures. The students were educated on how their prompt actions can play a significant role in saving lives.
The program was conducted in two sessions. The morning session was conducted from 10 AM to 12:30 PM which was dedicated to ATC students and was coordinated by Dr Shaila H and Dr Meera Devi. The afternoon session was conducted from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM which was organized for the Management Forum, Rangers, Rovers, and Traffic Warden Squad, coordinated by Sabina and Anitha S.
The training was highly beneficial, providing participants with practical knowledge and the confidence to act as responsible first responders in emergency situations.
