Mangaluru: Yenepoya PU College wins 26th Independence Day Cup

Mangaluru, Aug 17: A soccer team of Yenepoya PU College won the 26th Independence Day Cup, organized by Dakshina Kannada Football Association, at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru.

The team defeated the Tippu Sultan PU College team by a margin of 3-0 in the final match.

The girls' junior team of The Yenepoya School also won the runner's up trophy in the 26th Independence Cup-2024 in the junior girls category.

Chethan, the physical director, Chandrashekhar, and Dhanush are the physical education teachers of The Yenepoya School and Yenepoya PU College.
