Mangaluru: Ladyhill Preparatory School celebrates Tricolor Day

Mangaluru, Aug 16: Ladyhill Preparatory School celebrated Tricolor Day on August 14, dedicating the event to honoring the Indian flag. This special occasion brought families together to celebrate India's heritage and the significance of its national flag.

The event was graced by Sr Violet Tauro AC, the superior & the joint secretary of Ladyhill Institutions, Sr Jenifer Moras AC, principal of Ladyhill Higher Primary School and Sr Ivy Moras AC, the vice principal.

The programme began with an introduction to the days significance by Varnika Shetty. Deanne Jenisha Tauro welcomed the gathering. The students of LKG & UKG presented performances including patriotic songs, dances and a skit highlighting India's rich culture, heritage and unity in diversity.

Sr Jennifer Moras AC, the chief guest, addressed the audience on the significance of tri color day and also providing valuable guidelines for the parents on establishing routines, encouraging communication, support learning, ensuring children have balanced diet food, adequate rest promoting socialization and staying involved.

Anagha P Sharma delivered the vote of thanks, wrapping up a successful celebration. The event concluded with refreshment, offering an opportunity for parents and teachers to engage in meaningful discussions.
