Puttur, Aug 14: The installation ceremony of the new office bearers of the Interact Club at St Philomena P U College, was held on August 13, at the audio-visual room. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including installing officer Rtn Mohammed Saheb, president of Rotary Club Puttur city, chief guest Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal of St Philomena PU College, Puttur, and guests of honour Rtn Harsha Kumar Rai, assistant governor, Zone 5, RID 3181, and Rtn John Cutinha, chairman, Interact Club, RC Puttur city.
In his address, Rtn Mohammed Saheb, president, Rotary Club Puttur city emphasized the importance of community service and the role of Interact Clubs in creating positive change globally. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, St Philomena PU College, Puttur highlighted the Club's objective of promoting peace and working towards societal welfare.
Rtn Harsha Kumar Rai, assistant governor, Zone 5, RID 3181 stressed the significance of leadership development through Rotary Clubs, while Rtn John Cutinha, chairman, Interact Club RC Puttur city encouraged the Interactors to serve humanity and make a difference.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Rtn Mohammed Saheb, president, Rotary Club Puttur to the newly elected office bearers:

The event was coordinated by Sathyalatha Rai M, department of English and Suma D, department of English convenors of Interact Club, and compered by Itr Sakina Aiman. Itr Gyan proposed the vote of thanks. Rtn Ramachandra, secretary of Rotary Club, Puttur city, was also present.
