Mangaluru, Aug 11: The Investiture ceremony, a grandiose occasion of pomp and circumstance of The Yenepoya School, Yenepoya World Academy & The Yenepoya PU College was held on August 7, at the 'Yendurance', the auditorium of the esteemed institution.

The ceremony commenced with an invocation, inviting divine blessings upon the gathering, followed by the school anthem. The welcoming remarks by associate director, Anthony Joseph, ushered in a sense of community and shared purpose among the attendees.

The introduction of the chief guest, Lieutenant Colonel Gracian Sequeira, was followed by the speech on the importance of the investiture ceremony.

In a symbolic gesture of investiture, the cabinet members advanced to the dais, where they were honored with the presentation of their badges & saches by the chief guest, associate director, and Uzwal Menezes, the principal of The Yenepoya PU College. The badge of president was bestowed upon Mohammed Mehfuz, second PU Commerce, general secretary, Nafisa Shazeen, second PU Science, The Yenepoya PU College. Sudhanshu S Shetty, the head boy, Mansha Suresh, the head girl of The Yenepoya School. Mohnish Kiran Shah, the head boy, Amal Pudiyapura, the head girl of the Yenepoya World Academy, and other sports & cultural secretaries and house captains were honored with their respective badges. The proceedings were next enlivened by a stirring motivational song.

In an inspiring address, Lieutenant Sequeira highlighted the crucial role of determination, hard work and goal setting in realizing one's aspirations. He was honored with the memento and a sapling.

The director, operations & academics, Mishriya Javid presided over the ceremony. The vote of thanks and the national anthem brought the ceremony to a dignified close, marking the end of a memorable event.
