Mangaluru, Jul 29: At the AICS Shuttle Badminton D K 2024-LCS Smashfest event on Saturday, April 27, hosted at Lourdes Central School’s Indoor Stadium, the under-17 girls’ category witnessed students from St Agnes School CBSE demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship, ultimately securing victory in the competition.

Renisha V M’s impressive performance on the court not only earned her the title of best player but also showcased her dedication and passion for the sport. Her skills, agility, and strategic gameplay were commendable, leaving a mark on the competition and serving as an inspiration to her peers.

Jehaan Isir, Alisha Sequeira, and Marika P D'Souza, also proved their mettle in the tournament, displaying teamwork, coordination, and resilience. Their collective efforts and competitive spirit contributed significantly to the success of the St Agnes School CBSE team.

When asked about their experience in the AICS Shuttle Badminton Tournament, Ms Renisha V M shared, “It was a challenging yet rewarding experience. Winning the title of Best Player is truly a dream come true, and i am grateful for the support of my principal, physical directors, teachers, teammates, coach and my beloved parents."
