Puttur: St Philomena College secures four ranks in Mangalore University PG exams

Puttur, Jun 10: St Philomena College, Puttur, has once again proven its academic excellence by securing four prestigious ranks in the master’s degree examinations of Mangalore University 2022-23. This remarkable achievement underscores the commitment of the college to fostering academic brilliance and holistic development.

Chandraksha emerged as a shining star, securing the first rank in post graduation computer science with an impressive CGPA of 9.01. The department of social work also brought immense pride to the institution, with Sitara Shereen achieving the first rank with a CGPA of 8.58 and Shashank K M closely following with a second rank, with a CGPA of 8.53. Adding to this list of accomplishments, Reena A V attained the 10th rank in post graduation commerce with a commendable CGPA of 8.33.

These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, as well as the unwavering support and guidance provided by the faculty and staff of St Philomena College. The nurturing environment and emphasis of the college on academic rigor have once again proven to be the cornerstone of its success.

Fr Lawrence Mascarenes, the correspondent of the college, along with principal rev Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, vice-principal Dr Vijay Kumar Moleyar, members of the management committee, office-bearers of the alumni association and parent teacher association, teachers, and administrative staff, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students.
