Mangaluru, Apr 6: St Agnes College (Autonomous) post graduate department of chemistry organises a day-long national seminar 'Breaking Bonds, Building Careers: The Chemistry of Endless Possibilities!' on April 8 for students of both undergraduate and postgraduate programme.
The seminar is scheduled from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The first session is by Dr Gurumurthy Hegde, director – Centre for Advanced Research and Development, professor – department of chemistry Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru on the topic 'Quality Research for Sustainable Economy'.
The second session is taken up by Dr A Chitharanjan Hegde, professor - department of chemistry, NITK, Surathkal on the topic 'Electroplating: A Definite tool for indefinite possibility possibility in materials development'.
The third session is taken up by Dr Gurumurthy Hegde on the topic 'Exploring research avenues: Unlocking Career Opportunities'.
All in all, this day is going to be a wealth of information for the chemistry students.
