Udupi: Grandparents’ Day celebrated at Trinity Central School, Perampally

Udupi, Feb 24:  Trinity Central School, Perampally celebrated ‘Grandparents’ Day’ on Saturday, February 24.

The Grandparents’ Day commenced with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings on the day and on all the activities.  Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, the principal, Fr  Ravi Rajesh, the vice-principal and the administrator, Magdelina Lewis, academic coordinator, guest speaker Sumatha Nayak and PTA president Srinivas were on the dais.


The dignitaries on and off the dais were welcomed by Namratha.

The special day was filled with a variety of programmes like, a session which involved the role of grandparents, few exercises and entertaining games which enthralled the audience.

After a small refreshment break, the day continued with  a few grandparents sharing their experiences of the day spent in school with their grandchildren and the staff of Trinity.

Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, the principal speaking on the occasion thanked the grandparents for their participation and being actively involved in various events.

The programme came to an end by proposing a vote of thanks by Vinaya to the grandparents and the audience, staff, students and management of Trinity Central School.
