Udupi: Session on 'Overview of Infosys Springboard' held at SMVITM

Udupi, Feb 19: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with ISTE, IEEE, Co-Curricular and Placement cell organized a session on “Overview of Infosys Springboard - Awareness on various Infosys Springboard Interventions” for CSE students of SMVITM.

The inaugural ceremony of this event was held in Seminar Hall, Admin Block of SMVITM. Aishwarya Rajeev, senior analyst – Learning, Infosys Ltd, was invited as the resource person for this session. This ceremony was presided over by Dr Thirumaleshwara Bhat, principal, SMVITM.

In his presidential address, he advised the students to improve their technical skills along with academics. He highlighted the importance of such sessions which provide valuable insights and strategies to enhance students’ performance. He expressed his gratitude to the chief guest for her invaluable contribution towards the betterment of the student’s skill. Chief guest Aishwarya Rajeev, addressed the students and emphasized that the students must reep the benefits of Infosys Springboard courses to the maximum. Also, she gave hands-on session for the students on how to register for various courses provided in Infosys Springboard. She explained the benefits of having certificate from such a course in their careers.

The programme commenced with the invocation by Chitkala, second year CSE student. Sowmya J Bhat, HoD, CSE proposed a vote of thanks. SPOC for Infosys Springboard, Reshma, assistant professor, Department of CSE, SMVITM coordinated this session.

Natasha Lobo, second year CSE student of the college compered the programme.
