Mangalore: ‘Kalaakar Puraskar – 2011’ to be Held on Nov 6

Mangalore, Sep 15: Mandd Sobhann’s ‘The Carvalho Gharanne – Thomas Stephen Konkanni Kendr Kalaakaar Puraskar – 2011’ will be awarded at Kalaangann, here on November 6, 2011.

This year, the deserving Konkani artists of Karnataka origin who have contributed towards the enrichment of Konkani performing arts (theatre or music or folk-arts) will be selected for the award. Award consists of Rs 25,000 in cash, citation and a trophy.

Applications / recommendations along with a photo, list of achievements, proof and paper cuttings, may be sent on or before October 10, 2011to – Mandd Sobhann, Kalaangann, Makale, Shakthinagar, Mangalore - 575 016.
