Udupi, Dec 14: The annual sports day of St Cecily's PU College, was held on December 12 in the college premises.
The Annual Sports Day was inaugurated with a well synchronised march past by the students of different classes.
The chief guest Shaikh Mohammed Athif, cricketer and fitness model, highlighted the importance of sports in leading a disciplined and healthy lifestyle.
The college grounds sported a colourful and festive look as students enthusiastically participated in the various events that were conducted throughout the day.
The sports day concluded with second year commerce ‘A’ emerging winners of the team championship while Mohammed Afeez of first year commerce ‘B’ and Thasnima of second year science bagged the individual championship.
Sr Therese Jyothi, joint secretary, Fr William Martis, headmistresses of the sister institutions were present on the occasion.
