I am happy to witness the celebration of 30th milestone of the institution,” said Dr (Prof) Ifthikar Ali, syndicate member, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
He was speaking as a chief guest on the 30th Anniversary of SCS College and Institute of Nursing Sciences on December 9 at Dr B R Ambedkar Bhavan, Urawastore. He also congratulated the college for organizing various activities to commemorate the event. The programme commenced with an invocation dance by nursing students followed by lighting the lamp.
Guest of honour Prof Alice Daniel, principal, Malik Deenar College of Nursing, Kasaragod shared nostalgic memories at SCS College of Nursing Sciences and encouraged the students by her enlightening words. Chief guest Dr (Prof) Ifthikar Ali released the 30th Year Anniversary Logo of College and guest of honour Prof Alice Daniel released College Magazine 'Prayaan'.
U K Khalid, administrative officer, SCS Group of Institutions presented the significant developments of SCS College and Institute of Nursing Sciences from its inception. Dr Rajneesh Sorake, president, Karnataka Educational & Charitable Trust presided over the function.
Prof Lolita S M D’Souza, principal welcomed the gathering, Anil Kumar C.M, vice-principal delivered the vote of thanks. Basil and Sonu Anna, B Sc Nursing students compered the programme.
Dr Abhinay Sorake, secretary, Dr Amarnath Sorake, founder president, Suraksha Abhinay Sorake were present.
A virtual tour of SCS College and Institute of Nursing Sciences from its inception was presented on the occasion.
