Udupi: Christ School organizes Annual Sports Day

Udupi, Dec 9: The inauguration of Christ School's Annual Sports Meet 2023 was conducted on December 4. The formal programme began with the hoisting of the school flag by correspondent Fr Romeo Lewis.

The four houses, Courage, Honest, Respect, and Image along with house captains, took the oath led by sports captain Praneeth. The four-day event echoed with cheers and joy from the students. The grand valedictory ceremony was held on December 08 with pride and celebration. The chief guest, Alwyn Saldhana - inspector of income tax, Udupi received the guard of honour.

The chief guest in his speech highlighted the values of time management, discipline, coordination and self-integrity one learns from sports and games. The event featured a variety of displays that highlighted the diverse talents and skills of the students. The correspondent expressed heartfelt appreciation for the students' exemplary performances and commended their dedication. Adithi anchored the event and Praneeth extended the words of gratitude.

The principal Eliza Vaz, the school managing committee member Sline Periera, teachers and students were present. Parents in large number witnessed the sports meet.
