Mangaluru, Dec 8: Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences in collaboration with Justice KS Hedge Charitable Hospital organized the ICMR-funded clinical training on ‘Handling Emergencies’ from November 5- 7.
This program is geared towards training 150 staff nurses in and around Mangaluru.
Cleeta Anline Pinto organizing secretary of the clinical training program welcomed the gathering. The chief guest Dr B Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, vice president ISR & CRL Nitte Deemed to be University congratulated the nursing college for having initiated such programs and emphasized that nurses to practice and develop confidence in carrying out emergencies effectively.
Dr Fatima Dsilva, principal of the college of Nursing congratulated Cleeta Pinto and all the resource persons for executing the training effectively. The resource persons namely Dr Sripada Mehendale, Dr Basavaraj, Latha S, Dr Nalini M, Sukesh, Sarita Fernandes, Dr Suchitra BS, and Chethan were present during the program.
The program ended with a thanksgiving note by Dr Suchithra B S. The program was compered by Reeta Dcosta.
