Mangaluru: P Satisha Pai Government First Grade College organizes ‘Investor Awareness’ programme

Mangaluru, Nov 16: An 'Investor Awareness' programme was held in the college for third year, second year and first year BBA students of P Satisha Pai Government First Grade College on November 16. It was the initiative of IQAC of the college in association with the departments of business administration in collaboration with Mangalore University Commerce Teachers Association (MUCTA) 

The programme began with a prayer song from third BBA students. Welcome was accorded by Dr Malathy K, prelude to IAP was given by Louis Manoj, general secretary of MUCTA.  

The day had three sessions:

Session 1: ‘Back to Basics’ by Leo Amal A, senior branch manager, Franklin Templeton India Private Ltd 

Session 2: ‘Financial Literacy’ by  Naveen Julian Rego, SEBI registered financial planner, Mangaluru.

Session III: ‘Personal Investment Planning’ by Sapna Shenoy, an investment services professional, Mangaluru.

A total of 150 BBA students benefited out of this programme. Dr Malathy K, head of business administration, Akshatha, Chaitra, Ashwini and Prashanth Kumar from the department of BBA were present throughout the day.
