Mangaluru, Nov 4: A day of scientific invoation and inspiration at St Agnes High School was marked on November 4. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shobha, Lecturer at St Agnes PU College. In her inaugural address, she emphasized the importance of fostering scientific curiosity and hands on learning.
The heart of the exhibition was the exceptional exhibits presented by the students, encompassing diverse scientific domains from environmental solutions to advanced technology. The judging was carried out by Shobha and Raksha from St Agnes PU College who expertly recognized and acknowledged the outstanding contributions of the young scientists. The event’s success was further attributed to the unwavering support of headmistress Sr Gloria AC, understanding the schools commitment to nurturing scientific curiosity and knowledge.
The science teachers of the high school Prathima, Preethi Vas and Prima planned and executed the event. Chrysle D’Souza of 10B compered the inaugural programme. Around 80 students exhibited 40 models. The best models from Kannada medium and English Medium were awarded prizes.
