Mangaluru: Prestige PU College organizes felicitation ceremony for board toppers of 2022-23 batch

Mangaluru, Sep 25: On September 23 Prestige PU College with Management & Staff organised a felicitation ceremony for the board toppers of 2022-23 batch.

The Police commissioner of Mangalore City Anupam Agrawal was the chief guest and CD Jayanna DDPU of Dakshina Kannada was the guest of honour. Prestige Institutions chairman Hyder Ali, MD Reshma Hyder, Prestige PU College principal Sindhu Sedhu, Prestige International school principal Feroza Fayaz were present.

 


The programme commenced with a prayer song, followed with a semi classical welcome dance.

Subsequently the felicitation of all the top scorers were bestowed in a random order. Thanishka Maimuna,, the topper of the college who secured 98% was felicitated by all the dignitaries.

The programme continued with a eloquent speech by the chief guest Anupam Agarwal and guest of honour  C D Jayanna.

In his speech, the cheif guest stressed about the importance of education and eventually how students must utilise the social media to lead in a righteous path and refrain themselves from the use of tobacco and drugs .

The chief guest and the guest of honour were felicitated by the management and the principal.
The programme concluded with the national anthem.
