Kundapur, Sep 19: Engineers' Day was celebrated at MIT here. Tribute was paid to Bharat Rathna Sir M Visvesvaraya by garlanding his statue by the chief guest Dr Mohit Tihiliani, Prof NITK Surathkal and the other dignitaries.
Principal Dr Abdul Kareem, vice principal Prof Melwin D'Souza, director B B Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, HoD of Civil Engineering Department Prof Prashanth Hegde, HoD of AI & ML Prof Varun Kumar and HoD of CSE Prof Muralidhar B K invited the dignitaries. Staff and students were present on the occasion.
The programme was organised by the Department of Civil Engineering, MIT Kundapura.
