Mangaluru: SCS Preschools hosts fancy dress competition

Mangaluru, Sep 18: SCS Preschools recently hosted an exciting fancy dress competition at picturesque SCS riverside campus on Long Lane, Urwa. The school's atrium and entrance were transformed into a vibrant and festive setting that transported everyone to the enchanting realms of Gokul and Vrindavan.
 
This event, titled 'Natkat Kana,' featured two distinct categories: one for children under the age of 3 and another for children aged 3 to 6. In the delightful 'Yashoda Nandalaal' duet competition, participants were accompanied by Yashoda, adding an extra layer of creativity and fun. The competition received an overwhelming response with approximately 70 participants.
 
























 
The performances of all the participants were nothing short of spectacular, leaving the judges with the challenging task of selecting the winners. The esteemed panel of judges included Dr Subhashree, Gauri Suhas, and Vinayak Acharya.
 
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of Sachita Nandagopal, while Dr Kabbinale Balakrishna Bharadwaj, principal of SCS First Grade College, added distinction as the guest of honor. Dr Ajith Kamath, medical director of Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, and Shwetha K, head of the department of English at SCS First Grade College, were among the dignitaries who honored the occasion.  Vinaya D'Souza, principal of SCS Preschools joined the distinguished gathering.
 
Since its establishment in 2018, SCS Preschools has continued to expand its reach, with the riverside campus on Long Lane, Urwa, being the latest addition to its growing family of schools. This marks the third school under the SCS Preschools banner, with the other two located in Bikarnakatta and Kannur, Padil.
