Moodbidri: Carmel School students shine in 20th State Level Karate Championship

Moodbidri, Sep 15: The 20th State Level Karate Championship 2023 featuring both Kumite (fighting) and Kata (form) styles was held at Samaja Mandir Moodbidri organized by SHORIN RYU karate Association and Swami Strength Training, Moodbidri on September 9. The aim of the competition was to call together all Karate styles to compete in the spirit of friendships and brotherhood.

The students from grade UKG to VIII of Carmel School participated enthusiastically. They did considerably well. Everyone performed really well and we are proud of their efforts. Their participation in the competition proved to be an important experience for them to qualify and aspire to attain a place in the events like this in future.

Speaking about the competition, the principal of the school Sr Maria Gracilda AC appreciated all the participants.
