Bangalore, Aug 7: At a time when more and more people, particularly the youth, are turning away from God and religious or spiritual aspects in their hectic and busy lives and keep themselves busy in materialistic pursuits, Bangalore's dynamic Archbishop Rev Dr Bernard Moras unique forum, 'God is in Control,' under the aegis of the Bangalore Archdiocese's Bangalore Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (BCCRS) two years ago to help the faithful to meet the challenges faced by them at the workplace.

The forum, God is in Control, having the noble mission and a clear vision to inspire Christians to be rooted in Christ, experience the fullness of life and be a witness at the workplace as Jesus Christ wanted all his followers to be. The fellowship, started in 2009, focuses primarily on equipping the working and business community with Biblical principles through one-on-one prayer, networking and skill building and thereby providing solutions to overcome the various challenges of work life.

The 'God is in Control' fellowship has now planned three faith-building workshops presented by US-based Dr Owen Phelps, who is a management professor in the Cardinal Stritch University College of Management and a consultant to the Conference of Catholic Bishops' Conference of America, in Bangalore this month.

Good thought. Today's youth is more after materialistic pursuits than relegious faith. For people who do not understand their very existance, such forums will be of great help to know why we actually exist on this planet. Each one of us is created in this world for a definite planned purpose and it is only with wisdom can we understand our true existance. But, when we forget God who has created us as we attain wisdom and run after materialistic things without any sympathy on our fellow human beings, life takes its own course which is obviosly controlled by someone who is super natural, whom we all rely upon specially in times of difficulties. This super natural power is the one and only creator of the world none other than 'God' in whatever form and belief we worship and respect him. "Everyone grows up like a shadow and for nothing they are in turmoil. They heap up and do not know who will gather". God Bless our very existance and may we all live in peace and harmony without heaping for nothing.
