Sullia, Aug 6: Relating to the gory murder of KVG Medical College administrative officer, A S Ramakrishna, the local police filed charge sheet in the court on Friday August 5. It may be recalled that Ramakrishna was hacked to death by bike-borne youth on the night of April 28 this year, when he was returning home with his son after going for a walk as usual.
It is learnt that Dr K V Renuka Prasad, son of Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, founder of KVG Group of Educational Institutions, Bhavanishankar, and others have been named as accused in the case. Dr Renuka Prasad, Sharan, Bhavanishankar, Vaman, Manoj Rai, and Nagesh Poojary are already under judicial custody.
Puttur assistant superintendent of police, Rohini Katoch, is leading the investigating team relating to the said murder.
