Mangaluru, Jul 25: Talent Fest was held on July 24 and 25 at St Lawrence English Medium School, Bondel.
The programme was inaugurated by Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, renowned Tulu stage and cinema actor. He entertained the children through various skits and songs and guided the children to work on their talents.
In his presidential address, Fr Andrew D’Souza said, “Every child has one or the other form of talent. Only when it is recognized and nurtured the talent comes out. Children should forego shy, fear and hesitating attitude.”
Fr Peter Gonsalves, principal of the institution, Fr Lancy D’Souza, SPL Thejas and ASPL Meghan were present on the dais.
Various competitions were held for children and talented students were selected.
