Beltangady: Vanamathotsava at Holy Redeemer School

Beltangady, Jul 13: Holy Redeemer English Medium School celebrated Vanamahotsava on July 12 in a meaningful way.

The members of eco club took the initiative in organising the event under the guidance of eco club mentors, teacher Vintha Moras and Prabha Gowda. Student Praneeth Moras of Class 10 expressed the significance of Vanamahotsava. Importance of trees were beautifully depicted by a skit. Commonly used medicinal plants and their benefits were apprised.

Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto encouraged the students to take initiative in planting trees and nurture them. The event concluded by planting saplings in the school campus by the eco club members and the staff. The programme was compered skillfully by Reshal Bennis of Class 10.
