Udupi, Jul 4: The investiture ceremony of GM Vidhyanikethan Public School, Bramhavar was held on June 30.

S T Siddalingappa, additional SP of Udupi district was the chief guest of the programme.

S T Siddalingappa inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. In his speech, he said, “India is the world’s biggest democratic country. Today’s students may be future political leaders. Every school must have a school cabinet and organize such programmes. Where there is will and hard work, there will be success. Students must read newspapers."

George Kurian, principal said, “Today’s children are future of India. Hence, this is their first step towards it."

Prakashchandra Shetty, president of school management board congratulated the SPL and said, “GM School is working to build leadership quality and self-confidence in students. All cabinet members must fulfill their duty without any bias and be a model to others."

All elected school cabinet members and leaders from grade one to ten were given badge and explained their responsibility after they took the oath.

Rajashekar, sub-inspector of Bramhavar, Pranav Shetty academic director, teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present.
