Mangaluru: Father's Day celebration held at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School

Mangaluru, Jun 19: Ladyhill English Higher Primary School organised a memorable Father's Day celebration,to highlight the values fathers uphold and their impact on the upbringing of children.

The programme began with a sincere prayer service in the presence of the major guest, Shailaja, professor St Agnes College, Sr Violet Tauro AC secretary of Ladyhill Institutions, Sr Jennifer Moras A C headmistress, Sr Ivy Moras AC assistant headmistress, and Praveen Kumar PTA vice-president. Students from class 5 met to pray and show their appreciation for the dads and their contributions to their children's lives. The gathering was welcomed by class 6 students using elegant motions and expressive gestures.

Shailaja, the day's principal guest, delivered an insightful lecture on morality and the importance of fathers in raising children. She underlined the importance of dads as role models and their responsibilities in moulding their children's moral and ethical basis.

The programme highlighted the principles dads uphold and their vital influence on raising children through a variety of activities like a skit, wishing song, entertainment dance by students of Class 3, 4 and 7.

To keep the Father's Day mood alive, interesting games were organised, allowing fathers to have fun and make lasting memories. The games contributed to the excitement of the occasion.

The headmistress of Ladyhill English Higher Primary School, Sr Jennifer Moras AC, thanked the parents for their involvement and support. In order to secure the pupils' overall growth, she emphasised the necessity of developing a strong relationship between the parents and the school.

Yathish, PTA executive member, proposed the vote of thanks, thanking everyone who helped make the Father's Day event a success.

The Father's Day event at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School provided a platform for the school community to show thanks and appreciation to all dads, establishing a spirit of love, respect, and unity among the school community.
