Udupi, Jun 17: The cabinet investiture ceremony for the academic year 2023-24 was held at St Cecily's PU College on Friday, June 16 in the college auditorium.

The student leaders, Rifa and Sayeed Nihal along with the members of the students' council, were administered the oath of office. 

The solemn occasion was graced by the chief guest, Sr Therese Jyothi, joint secretary of St Cecily's educational institutions. In her message, Sr Therese Jyothi highlighted the importance of leadership in ensuring the smooth functioning of any institution.

On this occasion, the meritorious students of the II PUC Board Examination, March 2023, were honored by Sr Therese Jyothi and Sr Rachana, the principal.

Vasanthi Ambalpady, lecturer in Kannada was felicitated for her literary accomplishments and in particular for the latest release of her anthology of Tulu poems "Pijinda Baase Nikleg Teriyunda"
The program was compered by Rachelle Jennica of I Science.

Vinet D'Souza, lecturer in Biology welcomed the gathering. Sayeed Nihal of II Commerce proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
