Coimbatore, Jun 10 (IANS): After trading the lead for the first two days, Bangalore's Praful Chand and Delhi's Sidharth Seth shared the lead with one more round to go in the Tamil Nadu Open Amateurs at the Coimbatore Golf Course. But the scores continued to be high as the conditions stayed tough for scoring. It was once again hot and humid with a bit of wind throughout the day.
Sidharth shot a 82, while Praful carded 83 and both were at 239, three shots clear of L. Selvadurai (81) at the par-72 6,973 yard Coimbatore Golf Club.
Delhi player Amarjeet Baisoya, who had a 74 on the second day, dropped down with a 87 and was eighth.
The top 50 scores will qualify for the categorised events, the Inter-state Open at Coimbatore and Southern India Amateur at Bangalore's KGA.
