Mangaluru, Feb 10: Dr M R Shetty cup Physio Premier League Cricket tournament for girls and boys on inaugurated on Friday February 10 at NMPT ground, Panambur, Mangaluru.
The tournament was inaugurated, by asst commissioner of Police Mangaluru South Division, Manoj Kumar Naik.
Chairperson, Dr MV Shetty Memorial Trust, Dr Hima Urmila Shetty presided over the function, trustee, Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust, Dr Ranjit Shetty was the guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering Manoj Kumar said, I would like to wish all the participants. I have always been a sports person.
Dr Hima Urmila Shetty said, when I was a student I was more interested in sports.
Dr Ranjit Shetty said, late Founder Dr M Ramgopal Shetty was a great cricket enthusiast. I would like to congratulate all the participants and encouraged the students.
The tournament is organised for 2days with 23 boys and 18 girls teams from Karnataka and Kerala.
Professor L Gladson Jose welcomed the gathering, the organising secretary Dr U T Ifthikar Ali proposed the vote of thanks.
