Mangaluru, Feb 8: Police have formed seven teams to trace the accused in the jewellery store murder case.
It is learnt that after committing the crime, the accused had travelled changing two auto-rickshaws to mislead the police handling the investigation. The accused travelled by an auto-rickshaw from Milagres to Valencia. Later on, he hired another auto-rickshaw and travelled to Jeppu.
Earlier, in connection to case, the police had released the portrait of the suspected killer, from the CCTV footage and sought help from the public to locate the accused.

It may be recalled, Raghava Acharya (55), the victim who was stabbed to death was head of a financially poor family. They are living on a rented house in Attavar. He used to work in various jewellery shops since some years. For the past seven years, he was employed in the shop where the killing occurred.
