Mangaluru, Dec 10: Srinivas University, Samskrita Bharati Mangaluru and Bharathiya Bhasha Samiti organised a one-day workshop on SARALA MANAKA SANSKRIT (Simple Standard Sanskrit) on December 9 at Hotel Saffron Hampankatta.
To recreate the olden days of Epic Purana there is research needed in the Sanskrit Language. So, Srinivas University supports PhD in Sanskrit as well as planning for a Sanskrit World Conference in February 2023 said Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation in his presidential speech.
Chief guest Sanskrit Bharathi All India Training incharge head Dr H R Vishwasa said, Sanskrit is a simple language which can be learnt easily, for that small effort is needed.
The Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr A Srinivas Rao, Srinivas University Board of Governors Member professor A Mitra S Rao, Srinivas University vice chancellor Dr P S Aithal were present at the inaugural function of the workshop.
K V Satyanarayana, Sanskrit Bharathi secretary welcome the gathered, and Ravishankara Hegde, lecturer of Shakthi PU college deliver the vote of thanks. Dr Shanthala Vishwas co-ordinator and Sanskrit professor at Srinivas University hosted the event.
