Udupi: Four-year-old falls into cow dung pit, dies

Udupi, Dec 7: In a tragic incident that occurred at Bacchappu near Hebri in the district, a child fell into cow dung pit and died.

Muneshwara (4), son of Okan, a native of Jharkhand, is the unfortunate victim of this tragedy. Okan used to work as a  labourer in the farm of Antony.

The child accidentally fell into the pit while playing in the farm land. A case in this connection is registered in Hebri police station.

    Very unfortunate incident. Many accidental deaths and suicides in these ponds happening. Prevention is better than cure so from the beginning we should take care by putting boundry and fencing
