Mangaluru, Dec 2: In cities and towns across the world, public transportation plays an important role in the lives of people.
In India the use of public transport is the need of the hour. Public transportation systems create the foundation on which cities become more livable and prosperous in a variety of ways. They ease congestion, reduce emissions, and give us plenty of quality time to watch people, as well as to get to know our 'neighbors'.
The tiny tots of the Montessori section of Ryan International School had a field trip to Kadri Park - a ride in a toy train in connection with public transport day. It was an experience to cherish as they were excited to go on this ride with their classmates. Students had hands -on experience on different modes of transport. The kids were also taken around the beach and the teacher explained about water transport. It was indeed a fun-filled and informative day.
