Mangaluru, Nov 15: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School celebrated Children's Day on November 14 to make it a memorable one for the little ones. Children looked adorable with vibrant coloured clothes. Teachers welcomed them with 'Happy Children's Day' note.

The programme was organised in the school auditorium. Abhish Bangera, the school pupil leader and Lagan J S, the assistant school pupil leader being the chief guest of the programme drawed the attention of the audience. In their message to their fellow students they expressed that discipline should be topmost priority every child should pay attention to and to pay due respect to the values taught by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in whose honour Children's Day is celebrated.

The cultural programme was beautifully performed by the students of class 1. The winners of the Fancy Dress competition were felicitated by the chief guest. Children were all thrilled to see their teachers on stage which lifted up their spirit.

Headmistress- Jositta Noronha, assistant headmaster- Liya D'Souza, PTA vice president - Mangala Rai were present for the programme. Anit Bindu thanked all. The members of the PTA were kind enough in serving juice to the entire school. Sumptuous meal was enjoyed by every student. In the afternoon a friendly cricket match between the students and teachers was witnessed. The student team won the match.
