Udupi, Nov 1: The 67th Kannada Rajyotsava was jointly celebrated by GM Vidyaniketan Public School and GM Global School.
Brahmachari K N, principal of GM Vidyaniketan Public School unfurled the Kannada flag. Speaking on the occasion he said, “Kannada is a very rich language. A new story, novel, history can be created from the mother tongue The development of the state can be achieved through our small actions."
Prakashchandra Shetty, president of the school management board, wished everyone on the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava. On the occasion he said, “Today, the study of other languages besides Kannada is necessary for business, cultural exchange and globalization. But we should have respect for our land, language and water. We should love and respect our mother tongue and motherland as we respect our parents."
Pranav Shetty, principal of GM Global School, Prashanth Kumar, counsellor of the institution, GM Vidyaniketan Public School and GM Global School teaching staff, students of the hostel were present in the programme. Ensemble singing and dancing depicting Kannada culture spread the Kannada vibe to everyone.
