Mangaluru, Aug 17: Prestige International School, Jeppinamogeru, celebrated the 75th Independence Day on August 15, with great patriotic fervour and zeal.
The chief guests for the occasion was D B Mehta, chairman Allegro Group and Ronald S A Castelino, proprietor Roy Constructions, were welcomed by the marching school band and accompanied by Prestige International School chairman Hyder Ali to celebrate 'Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' at the school campus.
D B Mehta did the honours of unfurling the tricolour flag followed by the national anthem. The special guests for the occasion John D' Silva, S M Shareef, Santhosh Kottari and the managing trustees Rahil Hyder and Syed Faisal along with the managing director Reshma Hyder, Prestige International School Principal Feroza Fayaaz, PU principal Sindhu Sedhu and career guidance counsellor Shameer Ahmed graced the Tiranga Celebrations.
This entailed a short celebration including a patriotic group song and dances. Students, staff and parents proudly participated in the Independence Day celebrations.
The chief guest for the Tiranga celebration D B Mehta urged students to cherish their freedom. Investiture ceremony of Prestige International School cabinet and felicitation ceremony of the school toppers in CBSE Board as well as PU Board for the academic year 2022-23 was also held in the school auditorium.
Addressing the audience at the ceremony, the chief guest for the occasion Ronald S A Castelino inspired the students to be proactive Indians and future leaders of the country.
The special guests of the ceremony John D'Silva, S M Shareef, Santhosh Kottari, and the managing trustees Rahil Hyder and Syed Faisal congratulated the students and conferred the badges to the student cabinet and also felicitated the CBSE Grade 10, 12 and PU rank holders.
It was a trifold celebration of patriotism, leadership and talent recognition at the Tiranga Celebrations of Prestige International School.
