Udupi Aug 5: An inter house quiz competition for the students was organized at G M Vidyanikethan Public School, Harady in Brahmavar here on Friday, August 5 with an aim to enhance general knowledge among students, along with their curriculum and preparing students for competitive examinations.

In the first round, quiz competition was conducted on general knowledge in a written form held between five teams of the school-Gun, Medha, Vidya, Prajna and Shraddha. The final round willl be conducted for those who are selected in the first round.

Prakashchandra Shetty, president of the school administratiive committee wished all the contestants and said, "Our knowledge is our strength. Hence, everyone should develop a habit of reading other books also with text books."

School principal Brahmachari K N congratulated the all contestants and winners.

English teacher Sebastian P N conducted the Quiz competition attractively.

Guna team won the first place and Shruddha team won the second place in the competition.

Students from seventh class to SSLC, Pranav Shetty, director of the institution, G M Global school students and faculties were present.
